ah, if only calling early were the worst of my issues :)
i feel phone calls in the morning are the best. besides the fact that i'm less distracted, talking on the way to work prevents chin freeze.
Chin freeze may also be avoided by wearing a scarf! Radical idea that!

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your grad school acceptance to UW-Madison!!! You're so wonderful!!
Secondly, a scarf? no way! because then your scarf gets wet from exhaling. best to avoid all unnatural products and use more natural (and - bonus! - communicative) means of staying warm ...
