8 months
happy 8 month birthday to me!! oooh, i love monthly birthdays. even my boss celebrates with me. i think people want to celebrate more often than they do, and i am happy to give them my monthly birthday as an excuse.
so how should i treat myself today? cake? streamers? maybe some flowers? it's good to be good to me. i really do appreciate my own thoughtfulness.

I personally celebrate the birthday season - which begins a month to the day before your birthday and continues every moment until your actual day. It's important to remind people your birthday is coming and that you will happily accept meal dates, coffee dates, dessert outings, cash gifts and packages throughout the season. I agree - we all need to celebrate ourselves more! Love you Mary...

i understand your disappointment, paolo. i too would be upset if i hadn't had the opportunity to mark my 5-month birthday with any kind of bally-hoo.
but not to worry! your 1/2 birthday is just around the corner and we all know that's the best monthly birthday (besides, of course, the 12-month ... obviously). so everyone, pull out your calendars and highlight april 16th so you can wish paolo a happy half birthday on www.marcoe.net.
ok, then. let's preempt it with come celebrating in madison. everyone, drive up. it's a party. we'll crash some undergrad parties. i'm not a grad instructor there--i can still get away with mingling amongst the 18-22 yr old crowd.
