let this sink in

"For half the world's population the brutal reality is this: You'd be better off as a cow. The average European cow receives $2.20 a day from the taxpayer in subsidies and other aid. Meanwhile, 2.8 billion people in developing countries around the world live on less than $2 a day."

-Charlotte Denny, economic correspondent for The Guardian, putting the global economy in sharp perspective.

Do you know about Heifer International? My sister works for them. Check out www.heifer.org if you want to find out about it. It's a very cool organization.

Me again. One thing I forgot.
Ashley had a mix CD that we listening to and on came a song that she was telling me about as though it was given that I wouldn't know.
However, I knew everyone of the words. Surprised her a bit. The artist? Rick Ashley (is that his last name? I know just about all of the songs (thanks to you) but I am no longer sure of his last name.
Oops.
Just made me think of you. ^_^
